Zombie apocalypse is popular end times entertainment fare. I have a theory as to why this is. Everyone imagines themselves the hero or heroine, steadfast rugged individual quick of draw and dead of eye, mowing down the zombie hordes and roving bandits alike with unerring headshots.
Nobody considers the alternative, that you're going to be shambling the wasteland vacant and stinky, and probably sooner rather than later.
Well, LabKitty is here to help. Using the wonders of Javascript, I implemented a Monte Carlo simulation (a simplified version of Gillespie's method, technically) to crush your dreams. A kind of apocalyptic Magic Eight Ball that will predict your future according to the harsh but fair laws of probability.
The instructions are simple. You begin as we all do: frightened and alone.
